Covert & Co. was founded by Kevin Covert, an accomplished investment banking veteran known for his M&A and financing expertise and passion for excellence.

Previously, Mr. Covert was a founder of the investment bank Montgomery & Co., and a primary architect of its investment banking business over the span of 10 years. He established the firm’s core M&A and private placement businesses and headed both the Technology Group and the Media & Internet group. He has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience and has assisted over 100 companies with corporate finance and M&A transactions totaling more than $5 billion.

Mr. Covert previously worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston and Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup), focused on corporate finance and M&A for Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Covert serves on the board of directors for the Special Olympics of Southern California and the Orange County Venture Group. He received his MBA from Stanford University and Bachelor of Science in engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
