Position:
The firm is seeking an investment banking Intern to assist our senior bankers on M&A and financing transactions in the Internet, media and technology sectors. The Intern will be exposed to the entire transaction process and gain superior deal execution experience and exposure to exciting growth companies and their senior management teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and research technology subsectors, such as mobile, online gaming or enterprise software and stay up-to-date on industry trends, transactions and valuation multiples.
- Create and author financial models, valuation analysis, documents and presentations for proposals and transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Outstanding academic record
- CFA and/or CPA designation is a plus
- Superior writing skills
- High level of energy and flexibility with a positive, team oriented “can-do” attitude
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills are critical. Must have solid communication skills and a personal style conducive to building relationships
- Strong teamwork orientation, integrity, intellectual curiosity and dedication to providing the best product to clients
