Position:
The firm is seeking an Associate to assist our senior bankers on M&A and financing transactions in the Internet, media and technology sectors. The Associate will lead the Analyst team and will play a key role in the entire transaction process and gain superior deal execution experience and exposure to exciting growth companies and their senior management teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead Investment Banking Analyst team
- Monitor and research technology subsectors, such as mobile, online gaming or enterprise software and stay up-to-date on industry trends and transactions
- Create and author financial models, valuation analysis, documents and presentations for proposals and transactions
- Interact with clients on live transactions and represent firm at selected media and technology conferences and events
Requirements:
- Prior work experience as an Analyst or Associate at a top investment banking firm
- MBA is preferred
- Outstanding academic record
- CFA and/or CPA designation is a plus
- Superior writing skills
- High level of energy and flexibility with a positive, team oriented “can-do” attitude
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills are critical. Must have solid communication skills and a personal style conducive to building relationships
- Strong teamwork orientation, integrity, intellectual curiosity and dedication to providing the best product to clients
